Moving interstate: a room-by-room packing timeline

What to pack first, what to leave until last, and how to plan a long-distance move without the last-minute scramble.

Start with the rooms you use the least — storage, the garage, the spare room — two to three weeks out. Label every box with its destination room, not just its contents, so unloading day moves as fast as packing day did.

Keep a small "first night" box separate from the truck load: toiletries, chargers, a change of clothes and any documents you'll need before the rest of the shipment arrives.

Relocating your office: a checklist for zero downtime

What to plan for when scheduling an office move around your team, your IT gear and your trading hours.

Book the move for a weekend or overnight window and have IT disconnect and tag every workstation the day before, so cabling goes straight back into the same port on the other end.

Walk the new floor plan with the crew ahead of time so desks, meeting rooms and server racks land in place on the first pass, not after a second reshuffle.

Moving heavy and bulky furniture without the damage

Why fridges, pianos and wardrobes need the right equipment, and how our crew handles awkward and heavy items.

Straps, dollies and door-frame protectors do the lifting your back shouldn't — our crew measures doorways and stairwells before moving day so nothing gets stuck halfway through a corner.

Fridges and pianos travel upright and secured; letting either tip or lie flat can damage the internals even when the outside looks fine.

Restaurant relocations: what it actually covers

Kitchen equipment, glassware and fit-out — why hospitality moves need a specialist crew and careful scheduling.

Commercial kitchen gear needs to be powered down and secured the right way — ovens, fridges and prep equipment are packed to keep seals and fittings intact in transit.

We schedule around your service hours so the kitchen is back up and trading with as little downtime as possible, glassware and fit-out included.
